How Do I Get the Highest Rate?
Qualifying for your GTBANK Cash or Cash Back Checking rewards automatically qualifies you for the highest Garanti Trade Bank Saver rate, too. To earn your rewards just do the following transactions and activities in your GTBANK Cash or GTBANK Cash Back account during each Monthly Qualification Cycle:
- Have at least 1 direct deposit or automatic debit transaction post and clear
- Have at least 12 debit card purchases post and clear
- Be enrolled in and log into online banking
That's it!
And if for some reason you don't qualify one month, don't worry — your accounts are still free. You'll still earn our base rate on Garanti Trade Bank Saver and you can get right back to earning your full rewards the very next cycle that you qualify.

If monthly qualifications are met, we will refund domestic ATM surcharge and terminal fees up to $4.99 per transaction. To qualify for preferred rates on your Garanti Trade Bank Saver, you must meet the following requirements in your Kasasa checking account : (1) Have at least twelve (12) debit card point of sale transactions post and clear your account per monthly "qualification cycle" (Does not include ATM transactions); (2) Sign into online banking at least once per monthly "qualification cycle"; and (3) Have at least one (1) direct deposit or automatic debit post and clear your account per monthly "qualification cycle". Qualifying transactions must post to and clear your account during the monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more banking days from the date the transaction was made to post to and clear an account. ATM-processed transactions do not count towards qualifying debit card transactions. "Monthly Qualification Cycle" means a period beginning one day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. "Statement Cycle" means a period beginning on the Thursday after the second Wednesday of one month through the second Wednesday of the following month. Kasasa checking rewards will be transferred to your Garanti Trade Bank Saver account by the business day after the last day of the monthly statement cycle. If qualifications in your Kasasa checking are met each monthly qualification cycle: (1) balances up to $49,999.99 in Garanti Trade Bank Saver receive an APY of 0.25%; and (2) balances of $50,000.00 and above in Garanti Trade Bank Saver earn 0.10% interest rate on the portion of the balance of $50,000.00 and above , resulting in 0.25% - 0.15% APY depending on the balance. If qualifications are not met on your Kasasa checking account, all balances in the Garanti Trade Bank Saver earn 0.01% APY. Limit one account per SSN. The Garanti Trade Bank Saver account is only offered in conjunction with the GTBANK checking accounts. If the Kasasa checking account closes, the Garanti Trade Bank Saver account will be changed to a Garanti Trade Bank Savings Account. During any statement cycle you may not make more than six (6) withdrawals or transfers to another account of yours or to a third party by means of a pre authorized or automatic transfer or telephone order or instruction, computer transfer, or by check, draft, debit card or similar order to a third party. You can make unlimited in person withdrawals.
